Canada’s Energy and Utility Regulators (CAMPUT)

Canada’s Energy and Utility Regulators (CAMPUT) is a self-supporting, non-profit association of Canadian federal, provincial, and territorial regulatory boards and commissions. These boards and commissions are responsible for the regulation of the electric, water, gas, and pipeline utilities in Canada.

Some CAMPUT members are also responsible for the regulation of matters such as automobile insurance. The overall aims of CAMPUT are to improve public utility regulation in Canada and to improve the education and training of commissioners and staff of public utility tribunals.

CAMPUT’s objectives are to improve public utility regulation in Canada and to improve the education and training of commissioners and staff of public utility tribunals.
